Every project under this roof is an encensement. A tribute to some person, place, feeling, idea, or word that could not say itself in English.
The form the tribute takes is not chosen by the maker. It is determined by what is being honored. A feeling that has no English word becomes a scarf. A love-type the lexicon won't name becomes a song. A piece of automotive overspray that lasted three decades on a Detroit factory rack becomes a cuff. The medium follows the meaning.
Encensement does not sell scarves or songs. It sells the conviction that the right form for any tribute already exists, and the discipline to find it before making the wrong one.
